Job Description: Care & Support Worker
Responsible to: Appropriate Manager
Remuneration: You will be paid hourly rate depending on experience
Hours of Work: Flexible: As and when required-Zero Hour Contract
Place of Work: Domiciliary Care - Assist Citrus Clients’ at their homes
Duties & Responsibilities:
Providing personalized care and support to Citrus Care Aged Clients’ in their homes, in order to enable them to live a lifestyle of independence or live as independently as possible. This may involve:
- Providing personal care & support to clients with their health care plans
- Support the planning, delivery and development of personalized activities of living
- Support clients with complex needs, some of which are challenging in nature
- Working within agreed structural guidelines consistent with other team members
- Ensure Health & Safety Standards are maintained at all times
- Attend trainings and meeting sessions identified by Citrus Care
- To respect client’s confidentiality and that of Citrus Care at all time
- Carry out care work in line with Citrus Care Policies & Procedures
- Be committed to safeguarding vulnerable adults & urgently report any abuse concerns
- Work within the framework of Health Information & Quality Authority (HIQA) Standards
- Undertake other duties consistent with responsibilities as assigned by direct manager
Qualification : FETEC (Level 5) Certificate in Pre-Nursing**
Experience : Friendly, Caring & Positive attitude towards people (possibly aged)
Skills & Abilities: Perform intimate care with respect and dignity
Administer medications in line with Citrus Care Policies
Team Player working with differently with different people
Domestic & Household skills, Responsible Driving
Be Trustworthy with Time keeping & Clients Valuables
